My name is Ian Rose and I thank you for visiting my site. Much of this site is devoted to Genealogy, and in particular to the family trees of my wife Helen and myself. I am currently researching my family history, most of which is in the area to the west of BIRMINGHAM and spanning all of the first three of the counties mentioned above. Helens family are from London, Essex and the Czech Republic. Only a small proportion of my tree is shown on the site...the full database has over 9,300 names!
You will also find some personal details about us, pictures of our pets, links to other genealogical web sites, a list of FREE Census and Parish Register Look Ups, our Guest Book (please sign it) and photos of churches in Essex and Hertfordshire.
Brief details of our family trees are on the Genealogy pages - I hope that they may be of interest to you if you are researching the same lines as us. If you find any of your ancestors in our trees, we would love to receive an e-mail from you and exchange information.
I would also be interested to receive any parts of your tree that relate to the names that we are researching if they are in the same area as it is quite possible that there are lines which I have not yet discovered.
I am also interested in tracing DESCENDANTS........if you have one of the our names in your family and they may have originated from the Midlands, it may be interesting to trace back.
